Pre-Night Dive

One would think the things that lirk in the night are scary enough without haing to go underwater with them. Tonight I embark on my first night dive. Of which to be honest I am most fearful. However this is one more step to becomming an instructor and one more fear to barrel over and leave behind me. For me my fears are a road block more mental then anything. So instead of continuing to fear something I do it. Not really because I want to but because I am afraid to. I have no doubt this first night dive will be very unearving for me and I will waste all 3000 lbs of air in the first 15 minutes. However my weakness will one day become a streath as I continue to work and make an effort to improve. So here goes Nightdive one.

Enjoy your night dive. Goggles and tank make for a great adventure.

I'm so happy you are enjoying your work! Once I did some snorkeling at night with a high school group out at Catalina. We saw lobster and halibut by light of an underwater flashlight. We put glowsticks on our snorkels to see each other in the dark water. It is an adventure to be in the ocean in the dark!
Be careful! Love, Sis. Lassen
