There are people that wait for things farmers wait to plant, hunters wait till their season begins and divers here in Califonia wait for Lobster season. This year opening day began at midnight September 27. Pacific Scuba was a buzzing place with air fills and punch bags to provide the locals with their every need. And we chartered out the Sunfish dive boat to get out their and have a go at the bugs ourselves. This mighty hunter caught nothing but in the hunt did catch a glimps of some rather captivating sights... a bat ray, horn shark, gerobaldi and a spotted harbor seal. I lost my dive partener Rick on the last dive so think goodness for my compass. He and I both made it back dispite the conditions of 4 feet of visibility. Luckly the two earlier dives were in better conditions. So the dive count is now 30 and the lobster count for this season is 0.
